Magazine Design Portfolio

Eye-catching design and good writing go hand in hand. One without the other is like not putting hot sauce on your tacos. Why would you do that? (We are Texas-based. That’s an abomination here.) Our award-winning designs perfectly complement the content created by our trained journalists, and the results speak for themselves.

From community magazine publishing to association magazines covering topics from healthcare and security to agriculture and retail, m3Magazines has pretty much done it all. And check out those shiny awards we’ve received for them in the magazine design portfolio below.

m3Magazines Makeovers

Celebrities have stylists to help them look their best, and associations have m3Magazines. The magazines below had good bones but needed a little extra sauce to update their look, engage readers and advertisers, and present their content in the best way possible.

Take a look at the makeovers below and imagine your own magazine getting a new runway-ready makeover look. (Just don’t ask us to teach you a signature walk. Not all of us are that coordinated.)

WomenPolice

WomenPolice is distributed to thousands of female police officers worldwide. m3Magazinesʼ redesign presents a cleaner, more easily digestible format with a more visually engaging design.

Folio Awards, Association — Honorable Mention for Best Redesign; Communicator Awards — Honorable Mention for Best Magazine

Keynotes

The design of Keynotes was dated and uninspired prior to our redesign. An updated font family and cleaner yet more dynamic page layouts brought the magazine into the 21st century.

Awards:

Custom Content Council — Most Improved Publication

The Cattleman

The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s monthly magazine, The Cattleman, was nearing its 100th anniversary and needed a new look that reflected the associationʼs modern role in the cattle industry while paying tribute to its roots.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat’s layout and design were loosely structured, which resulted in a messy, haphazard look. m3Magazines created a cleaner, more colorful design that has won multiple awards over the years.
